January 2009 - Lincoln Park Conservation is founded by brothers Hector & David Gonzalez of Latin Pride Car Club, and mural artist Gabriel Gaytan.

 

April 2009 - The Lincoln Park Conservation meet with El Paso City Counsel members and are officially recognized and granted the right to preserve the park and host events there. The committee earns the support of the El Paso Police Department, El Paso Fire Department and several civic leaders.

 

September 10, 2009 - Gabriel Gaytan completes a pillar mural titled: El Corazon De El Paso, in dedication to Lincoln Park.

 

September 20, 2009 - Lincoln Park hosts "El Corazon De El Paso" car and art show. The show attracts hundreds of spectators, aswell as the support of dozens of local and out of state car clubs.

 

May 8, 2010 - The Lincoln Park Conservation Committee presents a fundraising dance featuring Sonny Powell and the Night Dreamers.
